Permanent eyebrows can lasts anywhere between 1 - 3 years, with at least one touch up in between. Results can vary depending on skin type. Those who have oily skin can expect to need more touch ups due to the natural oils in the skin fighting against the pigment.

There is minimal pain involved in the permanent makeup process. On a scale of 1 - 10, most clients say the pain level is between 2- 4. After one pass of the procedure is done, numbing gel is placed upon the skin for about 10 minutes before beginning the remainder of the procedure. Most clients are comfortable enough to fall asleep.

Permanent makeup procedures take about 2 hours to complete. That includes filling out the consent forms, a brief consultations, brow mapping, and the procedure.

After permanent makeup, eyebrows go through a 14 day healing process similar to a normal tattoo. During this process eyebrows will darken, scab, reach a translucent phase, and lastly reveal the final eyebrow transformation. In order to take care of and maintain brows during the healing process you should wash once a day with a gentle cleanser and moisten with Aquaphor healing ointment.

You are not a good candidate for permanent makeup if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have issues with wound healing

• Are on Accutane currently or within 6 months-1 year

• Have an altered skin condition that will not heal well after the procedure.

• Are actively on chemotherapy.

• Are Diabetic (unless well managed and doctor provides written release)

• Are prone to keloid scarring

• Are currently on pain medication or antibiotic use

• Under 18 years of age

Powder brows is the best option for those with oily skin. Those with oily skin will 100% have to come back for the 6 - 8 week touch up for the best results.
